- Account and login information provided through Firebase Authentication or Google sign-in.
- Payment-related information processed by Stripe when you upgrade to a paid plan.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create, save, and display your teacher portfolio.
- Provide account access, login, and portfolio management tools.
- Process upgrades to TeacherPortfolio Pro.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot account issues.
- Improve the quality, security, and reliability of the service.
3. Public Portfolio Information
Information you choose to publish in your portfolio may be visible to anyone with your public portfolio link. This may include your name, role, bio, experience, projects, contact links, and documents you choose to display.
You are responsible for deciding what information and documents you add to your public portfolio. Do not upload or publish sensitive personal information that you do not want others to view.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. TeacherPortfolio does not store your full credit card number. Stripe may collect and process payment information, billing details, and transaction information according to Stripe’s own policies.
5. Third-Party Services
TeacherPortfolio uses trusted third-party services to operate the app, including:
- Firebase Authentication for login and account management.
- Cloud Firestore for storing portfolio data.
- Firebase Storage for storing uploaded files and images.
- Stripe for payment processing and Pro access activation.
- Google services when users choose Google sign-in.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. However, no online service can guarantee complete security. You should use strong passwords, protect your login credentials, and avoid uploading sensitive documents unless they are necessary for your portfolio.
7. Data Retention
We keep your account and portfolio information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. If you want your account or portfolio data deleted, contact us using the email below.
8. User Choices
You may:
- Edit your portfolio information in the editor.
- Remove uploaded documents or links from your portfolio.
- Choose not to publish optional contact information.
- Request deletion of your account or data by contacting support.
9. Children’s Privacy
TeacherPortfolio is intended for educators and professional users. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. California and Other Privacy Rights
